Our friends over at PLAY had a pitch TVC commissioned that needed a photographic treatment. 3 Days from go to show. Ow. We employed the Canon 5DII with its tilt-shift lens and were able to produce a good feel without heavy post production.
Mangatoa Seismic Survey
After completeing an Annual Report in 2007 for our client Genesis Energy we were commissioned to make a web based documentary on their seismic survey off the coast of Kawhia.
We had captured a lot of material during a two day shoot for this section of the document and it seemed obvious that there was potential to tell a far larger story.
We returned to the seismic crew and recorded interviews with the key players to tell the story.

In January 2004 we travelled to Eastern SIberia to experience the extremes of living in the frozen environment.
Air New Zealand – Inspiring Journeys
A re-purposing of work we had done for the natioanal carrier, Air New Zealand. The images used were a breakout from scenic imagery traditionally used to exemplify New Zealand. This movie we used on long haul flights to and from New Zealand. A taste of what the traveller was headed for and a bitter sweet reminder of what locals were leaving behind.
